I'm much perkier than I was last week and, yeah, I did complain about the evil troll again. Wooo. Thanks so much to you all for letting me vent and for cheering me up.

So in return I want to share the joy by telling you about more fics that made me squee and cry and laugh etc. I'm gonna do the other themes I asked about, but staranis suggested jealousy fics and I liked the sound of that. This isn't a complete list, just stuff I like. Also there are other great stories that fit this theme that I've already recced in other categories, but I didn't want to repeat myself. Dirty, nasty, kink fic where Jared gets riled over Jeff’s presence on set. Possibly not for everyone, but I enjoyed it.

Wonderfully written fic where Jared watches and yearns for Jensen. This is sad and hopeless in all the best ways.

Jared sees the results of one of Jensen’s photo shoots and gets upset when he recognises the expressions on his boyfriends face.

Jealousy is only a small part of this cute story where Jared takes care of a tired and cranky Jensen, but it’s Jensen being jealous of Chad and that just struck me as being so wonderfully amusing. “Jensen hesitated, glancing around the empty room like he half-expected Jared or Mike or even Chris to jump out at him and yell “Gotcha!”, then bit his lip. Before he could think better of it, he grabbed the picture and tossed it into the corner, ridding himself of Chad’s fucking smarmy grin. And feeling like a complete and total jealous tool.”

Jared feels jealous when he watches Steve Carlson put hands on his Jensen in a bar in Vancouver. The emotions conveyed in Jared’s POV thoughts are so perfectly intense and needy and they really do feel justified enough to give the fic a really solid base.

Watch As We Fall by pocketfullof (jealous Jared)
Jared starts rescuing Jensen from strange men in bars, or so he thinks. Really Jared starts cock-blocking Jensen from handsome pick-ups. Jared’s obliviousness is so endearing and you’ve got to love a Jensen who can just roll with it until Jared has his epiphany. “It's only, it's been happening a lot more, this thing where Jensen's such a nice guy, incapable of telling some dude to fucking back off, that Jensen keeps ending up crowded into corners and leaned over against bars, as guys so clearly size up his mouth and his ass, and he never does anything about it.”


Thanks to siubhlach for reccing 'Beauty Steals Inwards' to me. I so would have missed out if I hadn't read this again.  And, rejoice, Supernatural season 3 has finally started showing in the UK. Jensen and Jared on my bigass TV. Sweet.
