The only problem I had was when I used it on Doyle (my dog) he'd try to catch and eat the big clumps of hair that were floating around, which made it difficult to brush him!! LOL! You'd think after a mouthful of hair, he'd stop, but nooooo, not my baby!
Doyle was a Sasquador. Part Sasquatch, part Labrador Retriever. Or a Labrasquatch, depending on what part of the country you're from. LOL. He was 115 lbs, his back came up to my hip, but he looked like a big Lab. He was beautiful (see icon).
We had to have him put to sleep two months ago; he developed bone cancer. He wasn't even two. We could have tried amputation and chemo, but he had really bad hip dysplasia and he wouldn't have been able to walk at all. So we made the really difficult decision and ended his suffering.

But we have three cats, Tank, Mulder & Quick, and they LOVE the Furminator!
*lol* I have a brush for mine, but I'm too lazy to do anything about it. But Bastian is shedding hair like crazy. *headdesk* I might have to actually brush him. *argh*
Hee. It's fun as long as they don't hate it & go crazy ninja on the brush. I have to as gizmo sheds EVERYWHERE and yet also manages to groom enough to throw up hairballs *boggles as she's a shorthair*. Luckily, she doesn't mind being brushed - but cant keep still and likes to wonder round so I have to follow her like a demented servant *g* I imagine it's quite a sight!
