Recs [yes, again!]

So in my ongoing attempt to make life easier for myself, I've revamped another recs list into an easier format. This time it's:

J2 FIRST TIME & GETTING TOGETHER FIC RECS

There's been some amazing new stuff recently & I want to be able to rec those fics without crying at the thought of coding, so this needed doing first.

Mos Def? Man, see you can't say you aren't down with the kids. Isn't that right there some of that modern music I hear talk of? Sorry - going a bit tired/crazy and talking crap. Bed for me in a minute. I'm currently addicted to the recent Manics album (THEY'RE GOOD AGAIN!!!) so I was trying to ween myself off it :D Of course, it's no good and I'm back there as I type this now.

Ah, but what I'm downloading now... It's an obscure album by a guy named Sixto Rodriguez (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:jcfuxqu0ldse). It was a kind of underground hit. MADE IN 1969!
