Happy belated birthday ejayye. And happy birthday for tomorrow pixiestks. There's someone elses birthday coming up, but I still need to wrap the tutu I got them, so I won't mention any names until then.

I just saw the latest Johnny To film 'Mad Detective'.

I really recommend it if you get the chance. The trailer is here if you fancy a look. It's so wonderfully inventive. Also it was really good to see Lau Ching-wan back in a dramatic role. Why does he keep hiding himself away in third-rate comedies? I guess it's one of life's mysteries. Same as why isn't Jensen the biggest Hollywood star.

Talking of...SPN was so good this week. I wont give anything away because I know people on my flist haven't seen it, but the shallow me was happy with the ooooh-pretty-Dean close-ups and Sam's perfect hair as well as the when-fandoms-collide guest star. The  smarter me enjoyed it for slightly different reasons. Gah! As much as I'm desperate for next weeks episode, I'm also not sure I can take the tension but I'm going to be a masochist and drag it out by not doing spoilers.

Thanks for the link, I don't know this actor at all but I may give it a try. And this Same as why isn't Jensen the biggest Hollywood star. so, so true :( IMO he has more talent (and so does Jared) than some so-called "great" actors that we see in all the blockbusters!

I'm slowly catching up with SPN, 3x14 and 3x15 are downloading now so I should be able to squee with you next week after the finale *bounces*

I wish you a very good week-end too, mine is quite long due to bank holidays in france (from 08/05 until 11/05), yeah!!

*bounces* Yay. You should. He's really good. Also the director is one of the few who consistently makes great movies without any duds. And I so agree on the Jensen and Jared thing. I'm looking at Tom Cruise. Why.
