As an American who was just under voting age when Bush was re-elected, I'm sorry. I know what it's like to wonder what the hell everyone else in the country is thinking, not knowing how that could possibly be, and knowing that the next few years are going to be no fun at all.
Hopefully the conservative / Lib Dem coalition will crack pretty quickly and we'll get another election within the year where anyone BUT the conservatives can get in. If he sets our human rights back...GAH!
Oh man. I felt so bad for you guys with Bush. That first 'the people didn't really vote for him but the supreme court says yes' reminds me of the results here. Whenever governments aren't really chosen by the people, it never goes well :(
