Hello nobody as I have no lj friends yet  :-(

I've been lurking for a while reading lots of great fics and though if I can't write anything, the least I can do is big up those who can...so like lots of other people I shall share the fic love and create some recs lists.

This may all go horribly wrong as I have no idea how to use this magic box...let alone try any fancy linking trickery, but here goes....

I'd moan that this story hasn't been updated in a while, but then it would take them away from all the new stuff they're writing so......The Jensen in this verse is so fragile but also ballsy and it's this contradiction amongst others that makes it seem so real. For example at first Jared & Jeff seem like such towers of strength but soon, as we get to see their wants, needs and foibles, they also become more alive and human. I simply can't recommend this enough.

Jeff has a broken leg so can't play, he directs the boys instead. I'm not sure if this is part of the Daddykink J3 verse that amara_m rights, but that's worth checking out as well. The title pretty much explains the concept of the series. It's dirty and good.

Jared’s not ashamed of the fact that he has voyeuristic tendencies and Jeff likes to be watched. The bondage though? That part’s new.”

These are parts 5 & 6 of a series of connected fics that are all good but I'm especially recommending these ones if only for this snippet of dialogue:
“Jen, the counter has a heartbeat,” Jared’s eyes were slipping shut again and- what the fuck?- there was another cigarette burning away between his fingers.
“The counter doesn’t have a heartbeat,” Jensen’s voice was calm and understanding and there wasn’t even a glimmer of belittlement. “It’s just the bass, Jay.”
I love the fact that this manages to be funny without being CRACK . It's a fine line and a lot of people miss it, but this story is worded so deliciously that it just works. It also helps that they're all so dirty & beautiful in it that the descriptions of Jensen alone are porn enough for one story.


I've deliberately left out the DeathKnell verse by nilchance and beanside because at the minute that's Jared/Jeff with a side of Jensen, but I love it and if I ever do an AU recs list that would be there.
