The cat is currently not talking to me, but I'm going to wear her down. No one can resist fish-dangles-from-a-stick.

So my first con is now done and dusted. Possibly my favourite non-panel moment of the whole weekend happened when ulysses3_de and I were in the queue for our Winchester "squeeze" pics. Some woman and her kid went to stand between the two boys and the little girl took one look at them and ran to hide behind the table that all the photo-printing equipment was on. Jensen was all "now you've frightened her" to Jared, who then proceeded to do that really big laugh where he rocks back in his chair and claps his hands a lot. Then Jared gets up to try and comfort the girl but she ducks under the table. So of course Jared then has to duck under the table and just as he goes down, the little girl pops up the other side. By this point Jensen is killing himself laughing and saying to the bit of Jared sticking out "now you made her cry". Jensen then decides to jump up to the camera and start taking pictures of Jared and the hapless photographer who is trying to untangle the kid from the wires. The girl finally decides to completely run out of the room and Jared sits back down and says to Jensen "she probably saw My Bloody Valentine". :DDD

Jared is waaay prettier in the flesh. And Jensen is still ridiculously gorgeous even with bright red lasik eye. And they were both still TALLER than me even though they were sitting! Jensen said it was because they had stools which I'm taking it as meaning he thinks I'm not short and therefore it must be so :)

Despite the fact that Rogue Events (boo) did their damndest to ruin the thing and should not be allowed to run anything ever, the panels that I manages to see were all incredibly good fun and, man, Misha really is just THAT awesome. I'm really looking forward to catching the vids of the bits I missed though.

The guests were all really cool and it was obvious they were really trying to make it as good for the attendees as possible. In the autograph panels I managed to speak to pretty much everyone, even if it was briefly. Jared said that he'd only had three hours sleep on Saturday night as well as jetlag but that he'd be alright because he'd try to sleep on the plane. Jensen said that his eye was feeling good and the surgery wasn't painful and Misha instructed me that I shouldn't be a rule breaker when I didn't put down my thing to be signed fast enough and the staff lady got snippy with me.

In general everyone in attendance that I spoke to there was seriously cool (queuing is like war in that it creates camaraderie) and I loved that in Jensen's panel, when he mentioned Danneel, the crowd actually cheered for her and he seemed really pleased about that and said "yeah, love her". That felt like a pretty classy moment. Obviously a couple of people asking questions during the weekend were DUMB, but I think they were in the minority.

I've got to say, that I felt really bad for Jensen at the end of the con when he apologised for not doing his end panel because he was making sure everyone had gotten an autograph and pic. NOT HIS JOB OR FAULT.

And to make it even better, I got to spend the weekend with siubhlach , ulysses3_de and yehwellwhatever who all ROCK <3

I am now going to have the worlds bubbliest bubble bath and copious amounts of sleep and I hope that no one will mind if I leave catching up with you 'till later...

Hee. They really really are. And even tired as they were, they were still happy keeping each other going. I want to steal them! And then force them to entertain me with their banter!
I realise the Jared prettiness now & feel ashamed of my previous stance :D

It was definitely one one my favourite moments from the whole event. They were just so dorky and funny whilst mocking each other :)

The guests were really good at making the event entertaining to make up for all the bad organisation and endless queuing. Still, worth it though.

Man, that was your daughter? She was AWESOME. I think that was mine and my friends favourite moment from the whole weekend. Not only did we get to see Jared chase a tiny girl, but we got to watch Jensen mock him at the same time. You must be feeling stoked and your joy is well deserved :) Can you thank her for me?

Man, I know! Me too. I'm just pleased no one blamed him, and everyone just knew it was the crappy organisation. Still, pretty nice of him to be concerned that we might feel like we were missing out. Yeah, he did look exhausted.

Hee. Hard work almost seems like an understatement. I don't remember a time my feet were as sore as Friday night. But yeah, you really did feel like the guests were going out of their way to make the best of it for everyone (especially Misha who just exceeded the expectectations of awesomeness).

That little girl was comedy gold :)

I will certainly thank her although when I remind her of it she just goes completley shy, bless her. I wont forget it though it certinly made my day and to have Jared and Jensen remember me the following day was great.

I had a great time. I did a report on my journal but it got very long and rambly - but the jist of it is that I had a lot of fun :P I got a Misha Coffee Lounge on Sunday so I was extra exposed to just how awesome the man is :P

Hey glad you enjoyed the con. I thought the boys were fab and in person so gorgeous and Misha was brilliant. Totally agree with you that Jensen didn't need to apologise, like you say not his fault. I wish there was some way to let them know we really appreciated that they were there and like you say the guests were determined that everyone enjoy themselves.

It's weird right? Yes he is, although scarily tanned and taller than a giant thing - but what seemed grrrhulksmash on TV was ooohmanly in the flesh. But, alas, no. Jensen is still the prettiest of them all. Even when he's tired & crap and a 1 or 2 on the Jensen scale, that's an 8 or 9 on the normal human scale :P

Noooo. Don't cry. It was a question about fantasy dinner guests that must include 1 woman, and he said her because then he'd have a black woman which was even better. But then he realised we weren't Americans & wouldn't know who she was so he changed it to Barbara Bush.

I hope so too. Although I think now I've experienced it, I'll be happy to watch future ones from home. I'm too old ;D

Yeah. Rogue really messed it up and I was pretty embarrassed that the 2 guys who 'organised' it accepted gifts on stage. Ooops. Especially as Jensen was just about to cover their asses.

Yeah, I watched all of Misha's! And, I watched one or two of the others, who are they again? *laughs* I like it best when they are interacting. I hear that Jensen is moving out of Jared's house. And Jared's fav actress changes depending on where he is in the world at any given time.

LOL. I watched the vids of the Jensen panel I didn't get to see, but I'm happy I got there in time for the dog story. That was just ridiculously cute. I didn't realise they'd been going out that long. How time flies when you're busy going 'eeeee so pretty'.
