Brilliant list. I'm really new to j2 (actually, to supernatural at all), but the AUs are my favorite. I've already read about a third of this list, and they're brilliant...
Some of my favs that aren't here (and you should read) would be:
The two gamer fics "Of Dice and Jen(sen)" by Epeeblade, and "If I recall correctly, you mentioned a Conflict of Interests." by keepaofthecheez. In the first one "Jensen is a senior at college, his biggest concerns are getting into grad school and planning his next roleplaying game. Everything changes when freshman Jared Padalecki joins the gaming club." The second fic had Jared as a famous gaming critic and Jensen as a shy, up-and-coming video game designer, whose newest project tells the story of two brothers... Both fics are nice and long, and come complete with the full complement of CW cast members.
"Do I seem bulletproof to you?" by fleshflutter, has struggling actor-wannabe Jared taking a position as bodygaurd/driver for a VERY expensive prostitute named Jensen, who has a habit of attracting crazy people.
"Spin the light to gold" by belyste, has Jared, fresh out of highschool as a first-time summer camp counsellor, and he's not sure whether the summer before college is too much time or not enough in the company of mysterious long-time counsellor Jensen, who has a rep for taking up with a new fling each year. Complete with camp songs, skits, guitar lessons, crafts, kp duty, cabin cleanliness compettions, pranks and quiet nights on the waterfront.
So, those are the others I think everyone should read, all of them are complete, and the second and fourth ones have a fair number of pictures and media attatched as well.
